After so many years, it seems strange to have only a herd of geldings.  No breeding jack, no jennets, birthing and foals to play with.    It's important to take time to enjoy your animals and that is what I'm accomplishing with just the donkey boys.  Gelding donkeys should never be an under-valued by-product of a breeding program.

If every breeder was more aggressive about  gelding their lesser quality jacks - not only would you help preserve the high integrity of  the genetic jackstock gene pool - but you would be presenting the public with quality, user friendly animals -  promoting and protecting the market for both breeding jacks and geldings alike.

I love the personality of the boys,  as geldings, they serve an important and special purpose as ambassadors for donkeys everywhere.
