Windows XP Set-Up Instructions for Online Services
Click on the "Start" button.
Select "All Programs" -> "Accessories" -> "Communications" -> "New Connection Wizard"
Click "Next"
Select "Connect to the Internet"
Click "Next"
Select "Set up my connection manually"
Click "Next"
Select "Connect using a dial-up modem"
Click "Next"
Enter "dialoregon.net" in the "ISP name" box
Enter the Online Services telephone number that is local to you.
NOTE: If you live in an area that requires 10 digit dialing, enter
the area code directly in front of the Online Services telephone number in
the phone number box. DO NOT enter the area code in the area code box.
Click "Next"
Enter your Online Services username in the "user name" box
Enter your Online Services password in the "password" box
Enter your Online Services password again in the "confirm password" box
Uncheck the "turn on Internet Connection Firewall for this connection"
Click "Next"
Check the "add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop" box
Click "Finish"
NOTE: Once you are connected, you will want to use Internet Explorer
to go to
http://dialoregon.net/support/
and setup your mail reader to check your dialoregon.net mailbox.
