Depending on what you see in the box below "The following
information services":
If you see an "Internet E-mail" entry for your email
account, double-click on that entry
If you do NOT see an "Internet E-mail" entry for your
email account, click on the "Add" button, then double-click on the
"Internet E-mail" option
Click on the "General" tab
Type your first name (or anything you want) in the "Mail Account" box
Type your name in the "Name" box (for example: Joe User)
You may type the name of the business or organization you are
associated with (if any) in the "Organization" box
Type your email address in the "Your Email" box (for example: joeuser@dialoregon.net)
You may leave the "Reply-to Address" box blank
Click on the "Servers" tab
Type "mail.dialoregon.net" in the "Outgoing Mail (SMTP)" box
Type "mail.dialoregon.net" in the "Incoming Mail (POP3)" box
Make sure the "Logon Using" option is marked
Type your username in the "Account Name" box (for example: joeuser)
If you do not want to type your password every time you check your
mail, type your password in the "Password" box
Click on the "Connection" tab
Click on the "I use a modem" button so it has a dot in it
Make sure the connection you use for dialoregon.net is showing in the
box labeled "Use the following Dial-Up Networking connection" (if it
is not, click on the down-arrow at the end of the box and choose
your dialoregon connection)
Click on the "Advanced" tab
Make sure the two options for "This server requires a secure
connection" are NOT checked
Make sure the "Outgoing Mail" port is set to 25 and the "Incoming
Mail" port is set to 110
Click on "OK"
Click on "OK" again
NOTE: If you need help using Outlook, you may go to the
"Help" menu in Outlook and click on "Internet Mail Help Topics" or
"Microsoft Outlook Help"
