Mac OS X Set-Up Instructions for Online Services

• Click on the Apple menu on the upper left hand corner
• Click on the System Preferences option
  
• Open the Network icon
• Under the PPP section, type in the following:
• Service Provider:                     dialoregon.net
• Account Name:                        your username on our system
• Password:                                 your password on our system
• Telephone number:                  your local dial-up number
• Skip the TCP/IP section
• Skip the Proxies section
  
• Under the Modem section, please uncheck the box that says "enable error correction and compression in modem."
• Save your settings by pressing the Apply Now button.
  

You are done! You should be able to open your web browser and your computer will dial in, connect, and you will be able to go to web sites and send and receive email.
