Email Address Options

You can choose between two different types of extra email addresses

• Mailbox: The mailbox option creates a physically separate mailbox for your extra email address, with its own password. You will need to configure a separate POP mail reader or use a POP mail reader that can check more than one mailbox in order to access this mailbox. The name of your mailbox must be between 3 and 8 characters.

• Mail Alias: The mail alias option does NOT create a physically separate mailbox but rather makes your extra email address act as a second name for your current mailbox. All mail sent to your extra email address will actually be placed in your current mailbox. The name of your mail alias can be up to 30 characters long.

Email Address Name

Email address names can consist of lowercase letters, numbers and dashes (-). If you chose the mail alias option above, you may also use underscores (_) and periods (.). In addition, if you chose the mailbox option above, your email address name is limited to 8 characters. All names must be at least 3 character long.
Note: All names are subject to Online Services approval.
