OPEN STUDIO OUR STUDIO IS AVAILABLE FOR USE ANY DAY CLASSES ARE NOT IN SESSION. TUESDAYS ARE ALWAYS MADE AVAILABLE FOR THIS PURPOSE. YOU MAY BRING IN YOUR OWN ART OR CRAFT MATERIALS AND SPEND THE ENTIRE DAY WITH FELLOW ARTISTS IN AN ENERGIZING AND INSPIRING ENVIRONMENT. THE COST IS $5.00 PER PERSON AND THE COFFEE IS FREE. ALL ARE WELCOME. CHILDREN 12 AND UNDER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT. |

JULY 2ND (12PM-2PM) "KID'S COLORED PENCILS CLASS" First thru eighth graders will enjoy a class filled with sea creatures using colored pencils. Pattern transfer techniques, color charts and solid color application will be emphasized in their own "take-home" sketch books & set of colored pencils! $15. Per child JULY 9TH & 10TH (10AM-4PM) "COLORED PENCIL CATS" Day one is the cat's meow! Instruction for our very orange kitty (shown below) will set the pace. Day two is for another cat of your choice. Your own pattern should not exceed 8x10". Supplies list available at Pencilport. $35 per person. JULY 18TH (6PM-9PM) "HOW TO START A SKETCH BOOK" We'll get you started with some tips, encouragement and inspiration to begin a great sketch book/journal. We have empty sketch books awaiting "ful-fillment". This class is suitable for all age groups and we encourage parent/child participation. $20 per person JULY 21-25TH (9AM-5PM) "DRAWING ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BRAIN" A course in enhancing creativity and artistic confidence. Whether you are an accomplished artist or just beginning to draw, this course is sure to bring you a renewed or new way of seeing with the artists eye, the key to better drawing. Even if you have never drawn before, you will delight in tips and techniques used to improve your work. $75 per student includes textbook, all drawing supplies and materials. JULY 30TH (12-4PM) "PUSHIN' PIGMENTS" A special watercolor technique that's fun and a little unpredictable. Join us for this beginning watercolor class. $20 per person includes all supplies |
