Hi!  Welcome to Blue Mountain Farm and the big and small of our donkey friends.  Donkeys are a special kind of equine, not one commonly used by most equine enthusiasts.  They have a lot of genetic advantages.  With appropriate training and conditioning, donkeys can do most anything a horse can do (and sometimes even a little better).

The Blue Mountain Farm's Mammoth Jackstock breeding program has been downsized to just a small group of special geldings.  We just want to have the time to have fun with our long-eared friends.  This simple website format replaces the original Blue Mountain Donkey Page, so we can just focus on what these donkey boys are currently up to.  (Click here for the original Blue Mountain Donkey Page archived articles.)
